For the past 10+ years, MAVerick Ensemble has performed a wide range of works, specializing in looking for those works which did not receive the recognition by performance in Chicago and quite frankly music that members of the ensemble love. This has given us the opportunity to perform works with over 30 musicians to numerous solo works. As MAVerick has had many iterations, the instrumentation of the works we have performed is quite diverse. While a number of the works, in this list are not currently in our active list, it should give an idea of MAVerick’s flexibility and diversity.
Pieces that were commissions and premieres are indicated next to the work. MAVerick has a long tradition of repeating works from past concerts. We continue to look for opportunities to perform many of the works on this list for new audiences.
